What is your current process for conducting the 30-Day Walkthrough Inspections. Do you have some at your company conduct them or do you subcontract someone to perform the inspections?

If they subcontract the inspections - this would be the conversation steps.

  1. Who is the vendor that is conducting the 30-Day inspections and do they know how much the pay per site?

  2. Would they be interested in having their own people conduct the inspections to eliminate the vendor cost of the inspections?

  3. If they are not interested in bringing the work in-house, how does the subcontractor provides the completed 30-Day reports (such as via email or a website that they can access)?

  4. If they only receive via email or the reports are left at the site, you can show them our dashboard and let them know that their vendors could use our mobile app and then they would have access to reports through the dashboard.

  5. Here is where it gets a little more technical. If they use a vendor/subcontractor, are not interested in bringing in-house, and have access to dashboard then ask them what form the vendor is filling out and if they know it meets both the federal and state requirements. If they are not sure, you can say you could have it evaluated to ensure it meets federal and state as only using one PEI form may not be sufficient and you can refer them to the “Benefits of using the FPMA 30-Day Form” page.
